THE TRUTH ABOUT JOAN CURTISS King Charles CAVALIER PUPPIES --REVIEW-- Me and my wife always wanted a King Charles Cavalier. We are aware that they are hard to get and the price can be high, therefore we saved enough money for about a year and we were contacting breeders in New England to get our puppy, in this case we talked to Joan Curtiss. Joan told us it was $3,000 and wanted a $500 security deposit. We agreed and sent her $500 to her home in Glastonbury, CT. We did it happily and were excited for our puppy. This happened in July 1st and everything seemed to be in order. We usually checked and text Joan to see how everything was going, it took her always hours or days to answer, which could be worrying if you pay a security deposit to somebody you don't know, but we thought everything was ok when she replied.
